The most striking thought occurred to me when I first stepped foot in these great vineyards of Mulchen, in the far south of Chile, and that was just how much the scene reminded me of Marlborough in New Zealand, the home of modern Sauvignon Blanc. The difference here is that the wines are a wee bit better value (to say the least)

Not because he's a loveable sort of character, which he is, but because I could see exactly what he was up to in the wine. He's great. And it's all about pure, unadulterated, natural fruit with this guy.
